FAQs

  • Marshmellow Baby’s Paws for Help Foundation Inc. is a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to the memory of Mellow B, a beloved Maltese whose spirit continues to inspire the foundation’s mission. We focus on providing financial assistance for the medical care of small dogs, particularly Maltese and similar breeds, helping pet parents who face financial hardships afford necessary treatments for their furry family members. Our foundation operates through a thoughtful application and review process, including assessments by our board of directors and consultations with external veterinary experts for major diagnoses. This ensures that support is efficiently directed towards feasible and impactful treatments. By alleviating the financial burden of veterinary care, we strive to ensure that all small dogs can enjoy a healthy, happy life, honoring the legacy of love and joy that pets like Mellow B bring into our lives.

  • Marshmellow Baby aka Mellow B was a 14-year-old female Maltese, she was my best friend, my confidant, and the most pawsitive pup you would ever know. She has her own Facebook Page which is now called Marshmellow Baby’s Legacy Page and an Instagram Page Marshmellowbaby08 where she has been spreading pawsitivity for many years and still continues now from the Rainbow Bridge where she welcomes all the new furangels. Mellow B had a bladder mass that they thought was TCC (bladder cancer) it was not, they gave her 7 months to live but with the excellent care of her doctors but regular and holistic she was able to live an extra 3.5 years before succumbing to kidney failure. You would never have known anything was wrong with her when you saw her to the last weeks, she was active happy to go shopping, to the office with her as she called her mommy “crazy mommy” and to the puppy park and modeling the latest outfits she picked up. She was so excited to finally get her baby sissy Lil Hopey B who was given the name Hope Baby to give that crazy mommy hope, they had the best 6 weeks together and her lil sissy Hopey B is carrying on her legacy of love, peace, hope and pawsitivity just like her big sissy Mellow B would have wanted of course with her own little flair. The foundation is named after her as Mellow B saw a lot of pups who going through what she was going through lots of doctors visits and their parents couldn’t afford it, so her mission was to make sure that every pup has a fighting chance and with the help of her crazy mommy, lil sissy and this foundation she just knows that we can all make this happen.
