Dear Friends and Supporters,
It’s Mellow B here, reaching out from the Rainbow Bridge with a heart full of love and paws poised to share a message of hope, kindness, and unyielding positivity. As the namesake of the Marshmellow Baby’s Paws for Help Foundation Inc., I carry with me not just memories of my time on Earth, but also a mission that continues to guide our efforts from beyond.
For over a decade, I was the picture of health, joyously embarking on adventures and spreading happiness wherever I went. However, at 10.5 years, my path took a sharp detour when I was diagnosed with a bladder stone, followed by a bladder mass. The initial fear was TCC (bladder cancer), but fate had a different story in store.
Despite the grim prognosis of just 7 months, I defied the odds and continued to thrive until the age of 14 years, 4 months, and 29 days. Throughout my treatments, which spanned conventional, specialist, and holistic care, I remained a beacon of pawsitivity. My experience unveiled the power of hope and the importance of making every treatment known and accessible to others facing similar battles.
Our foundation was born from a desire to turn my story into a source of support for others. We are dedicated to providing financial assistance for the treatment of pups in need, ensuring that no one has to face these challenges alone. Through our work, we hope to extend the same love, care, and opportunities for miracles that defined my life. As I watch over you all from the Rainbow Bridge, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the community we have built and the lives we continue to touch. Together, we can make a difference, one paw, one heart, and one act of kindness at a time.
